The Academy

2010 Judges & Academy Members

The World Photography Academy is a body of internationally respected industry leaders who endorse WPO, its values and objectives.

Formed in 2007, the first member to join the World Photography Academy was photojournalist Tom Stoddart, and today it comprises well over 100 international industry experts, including some of the world’s leading photographers, gallery owners, picture editors, photographic foundations, agents, managers and publishers.

Each year, selected members are invited to form our competition judging committees and participate within the World Photography Festival programmes. Membership is granted by invitation from WPO and/or by referral from an existing academy member.
