The 2010 Focus Award

Organised by the World Photography Organisation, in association with UNICEF and sponsored by Sony, ‘A Photo Pledge for Children’s Rights’ calls photographers around the globe to pledge their support to this campaign by submitting a single image which portrays one of five fundamental Rights of a Child:

  1. The right to Healthcare
  2. The right to Education
  3. The right to a Childhood
  4. The right to a Voice
  5. The right to be Treated Fairly

Pledge your photos alongside famous photographers such as Bruce Davidson and Mary Ellen Mark and celebrity UNICEF Ambassadors such as Ewan McGregor and David Beckham. Your images will automatically be entered into the official campaign gallery.  Your photo pledge may also be selected by our international media partners for publication around the world in support of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child and as part of the exhibitions at the World Photography Festivals.
