The World Photography Festival will launch in London in April 2011 at Somerset House. As the only international photography Festival that exists in the city today, the annual event promises to deliver an exciting and inspiring programme which will appeal to all; Professionals, amateurs, students and of course, the photo loving public.

The programme will deliver an eclectic mix of exhibitions, talks, screenings and portfolio reviews workshops, led by many of our internationally renowned Academy Members. The World Photography Awards winners’ exhibitions will stay open until 22nd May, 2011.

Having gained global recognition and prestige, the Sony World Photography Awards annual gala evening has re-located to London. This black-tie event will be one of the many highlights of the Festival Programme, heralding outstanding photography achievements from around the world, from the next generation of photographers to the masters of the art.
