L'Iris d'Or - 2011 Winner

Congratulations to Alejandro Chaskielberg of Argentina who has been awarded the most prestigious Sony World Photography Award, the L'Iris d'Or for 2011. His series 'High Tide' about a small community of islanders who live on the Parana River Delta was recognised as the best entry out of 105,000 submissions from 162 countries.
