Bio

Hello my name is Sylvain Deshaies. I am a photographer for a News Agency in Canada, Juste pour Rire France, and Gesca Publishing in Canada. I cover mainly the Quebec cultural activity in Paris. I have worked as an Production Manager Assistant for media groups such as Transcontinental and Quebecor Media and Artistic director assistant for Gesca Publishing. Therefore, images has no secrets for me at all.
I was born in 1965 in a poor neighborhood of the city of Montreal known as Pointe-Saint-Charles. My dad was blue collar for the city and my mother worked at the Northern Electric factory. As far as I can remember, photography has always been part of my life. The emotions associated with old photos of my mother and the majestic landscapes of my childhood have made me a man sensitive to the beauty of the world.
Now living in France, I present to you my gallery depicting THE LIFE. The whole life! Childhood, the naivety of the little girl, the spirit of the twenties, strength and weakness of life, There is also the representation of painful trials and storms that we must face throughout our lives, having to work like a dog all our life to finish alone at the hospital. There was all this, and more.
