International VEG & Available Objects

These are pictures out of two still life series I shot as table tops in my Studio with daylight. International VEG is a project that was inspired by a brochure for HAY furniture Copenhague line I saw. I really liked the graphic design and simple black and white photography, so I decided to make a mock brochure using the same style, layout and graphic design but used vegetable instead. Another inspiration was Carl Blosfeld. I always really enjoyed natures design and the beauty you can find in daily life objects. The second series Available Objects also incorporates this passion of mine, but is more inspired by the Swiss artists Fischli&Weiss. I collected objects in my household and in the nearby park and created little sculptures which rely on balance within themselves.
