"This is a study of the lidos that have disappeared entirely, survived or were left bereft to decay over time. The ones that have survived have benefited from renewed interest and investment, undergoing redevelopment and are now thriving."

'Mixtec voices: the route of migration' started in 2015 with an "Unheard voices grant" from the storytelling platform Cowbird. Rodrigo continues to develop the series through his own funding.

"We are explorers. We always have been. We dreamt of scaling mountains, exploring other continents, diving deep into the ocean and flying in high up the air."

The public are invited to vote for ‘Best in Show’ and the winning photographer will be awarded tickets to the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition in London.
