To celebrate the array of images submitted to this year’s Sony World Photography Awards, we’re publishing a collection of images each week up until the opening of the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition on April 18 at Somerset House. Each collection is chosen by a theme from the revealed shortlists. This week we're showcasing the stunning images that capture the cultural diversity of our world. All photographs have been drawn from the Open, Youth, Student and Professional shortlists.
