It's almost Christmas, and that means we're getting closer to the final deadlines for the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards. As always, we have chosen ourbest entries of the week.

Albert Drosis aGlobal ImagingAmbassadorfor Sony Netherlands. Here he explains his love of the seasons and showcases some of the varying shots he has been able to get throughout the year.

Clas Hammari Kristensen is a freelancephotographerbased in Tromsø, Norway. He was shortlisted in the 2015 Sony World Photography Awards with his series, 'Northern Lights'.

"I shoot mainly people in the studio but my personal projects tend to be the opposite; animals and buildings for example. I think my style of photography is very minimal..."

This year's theme, "Seeing Beyond - Untold Stories" requires photographers to present a strong series of 5-10 images that look beyond the ordinary and every day.
