Following a record-breaking 230,103 submissions to its ninth edition, the winners of the world's largest photography competition, the Sony World Photography Awards, have been announced.

Tamina-Florentine Zuch, 25, isannounced as the winner of the first-ever ZEISS Photography Award, with her photo series documenting a train journey through India. The contest attracted 3,139 photographers from 116 countries – from Albania to Zimbabwe. A total of 22,000 images were submitted.
