Javier Arcenillas was born in Bilbao in 1973. He graduated with a degree in Evolutionary Psychology from the Complutense University. He is a professor of Documentary Photography at the PICA School of PHE, located in Spain. He has won the most important international awards such as, UNICEF Prize, Sony World Photography Awards, POYI, Fotoevidence, Eugene Smith Grant, GettyImages Grant, Lucas Dolega Grant and WorldPressPhoto. He has also worked on reports for El Mundo, El Pais, L ́Expresso, GEO, And SieteDias.
