Argentina: Adrian Markis, Agony of Love
"The agony of love is a photo series about the last moments that live two lovers or married couples in their home. They still love each other, but they are suffering a huge crisis, living together for many years has been their big problem. I think that is very difficult to decide to go away, leave home, and start all over again. A hundred of people that live together are suffering every day because they have fear making a decision. Because of this fear, we can not be free. I inspired on the work of Edward Hopper and Gregory Crewdson. I composed the images to create narrative experiences, the viewer is introduced to a couple on the verge of separation. It is a close-up intimate portrait where the characters face a major life obstacle."
