Kingsley joined the Association of Photographers as its Managing Director in August 2007, bringing extensive experience and expertise in business, project and change management with him.  Since then, he has worked hard to steer the organisation onto a new course that has not only seen the Association posting successive surpluses for 2008 and 2009, an achievement not seen since 2000, but also seen it improving the level and the quality of the services and activities it provides to its members. 

Kingsley started his career in retail banking and then moved into the City, where he was latterly responsible for significant chunks of operational change at companies like Salomon Brothers, UBS, Credit Suisse and Brown Shipley.  So whilst not having a strong photographic background, he has managed to engage others, so that progress at the Association has followed the right course to ensure that it can continue to build on its rich past and provide better services to its members in future.
