In the first 11 months that passed since Russia invaded its neighbour, Ukraine, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights reported that 6,826 civilians died and 10,769 were injured. It was also estimated that almost eight million Ukrainian citizens had left their country and sought refuge in European countries, while six-and-a-half million people were forcibly displaced within the country as the reality of war was brought to the European continent.

Biography

Emin was born in 1987 in Turkiye. He started his photography career in 2011 after graduated from Akdeniz University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations. Now, Emin works as a photojournalist at Anadolu Agency (AA). He takes photographs in many category including politics, war, sports and breaking news. His work has been published by TIME, The New York Times,The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, and others. Emin, continues his photojournalism career in Ankara.
