Series description

A chatal is a place where paddy (raw rice) is boiled, dried in the sun and threshed to be made into prepared rice – the staple food of Bangladesh. Families from different parts of the country work together in a chatal, which is also their place of residence. As many families from different cultures come together, the chatal becomes like a large house.

Biography

There was a time when painting was my passion. . But for various reasons I had to stop painting. Even though I left the picture, I could never leave the passion of painting from my mind. So I had chosen a similar media of my passion. Instead of painting, I started to draw pictures by camera. Thus photography took place in my life. I want to pass the rest of my life through this practice.
