Student and Youth shortlists have been announced! Here's a first look at the celebrated series
"I try to create photos that catch the eye and let your imagination run wild. That would be my biggest success as a photographer."
On February 28, 2018, the World Photography Organisation announced the shortlist for the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards.
"The big consideration for most is Giclée or C-Type printing, and rightly so, as this determines the paper types you can choose, and ultimately the finished result."
Each week, we will be choosing 10 highlighted images ahead of all the images being displayed at the 2018 Exhibition in London from 20th April - 6th May.
"I just try and set out to create different and unique images from these events and also with my photography in general. I guess that is the biggest part of my process."
Varun Thota is a Product Designer, living and working in Hong Kong. He is shortlisted in the Professional Landscape category of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards.
