To celebrate the array of images submitted to this year’s Sony World Photography Awards, we’re publishing a collection of images each week up until the opening of the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition on April 18 at Somerset House. Each collection is chosen by a theme from the revealed shortlists. This week we showcase the best monochrome images. All photographs have been drawn from the Open, Youth, Student and Professional shortlists.
