Creative Shortlist

Dead Country is a project that explores the significance of death in Romanian culture and religion. This is a personal project about my grandmother and the relationship she has with death, the objects and clothes that she has collected over the years – and that she will use the day of her funeral. My grandmother lives with death; the orthodox rituals and traditions she follows are daily reminders of her own mortality and that of others.
