We are receiving some fantastic entries to the Open competition of the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards. Here are some of the best from the week commencing October 17, 2016.


One winning photographer will be awarded with €12,000 worth of ZEISS lenses, €3,000 travel expenses to complete a dream photography project in the location of their choice + a trip to London! 

TRAJECTORY, on at theprintspace Gallery until November 1, is a comprehensive showcase of graduate talent from the 2016 season. 

Experts from across the photographic industry will come together to decide the best images shot in 2016. They will choose from the awards’ Professional, Open, Youth, National Awards and Student Focus competitions.
