One of the most important parts of the Sony World Photography Awards is the Youth competition. Each year, alongside the Open and Professional competitions, we look for the next generation of photographers.
The Youth competition, which is free to enter for everyone aged 12-19, helps young photographers grow and flourish into the next stages of their careers.
Every year, we set a unique Brief for all those young photographers out there to follow and respond with their best single images. As the competition has now been open for almost two months, our editors sifted through the brilliant entries and picked out some of their favorites, which we've showcased below.
