Philippe Garner has specialised in 20th Century Decorative Arts and Photography, and has worked in the auction world for 35 years. His considerable knowledge of the social and artistic history of the last century has made him an inspiring and effective coordinator of numerous important one-owner, collection and themed sales. Mr. Garner has published numerous books, articles and essays on aspects of the decorative arts, design and photography. He has also curated museum shows in Britain, France and Japan, including exhibitions at both the Victoria & Albert Museum and The Photographers’ Gallery in London.
