Thavorn Ko-udomvit was born in Bangkok and graduated from Silpakorn University with a BFA and MFA. He has received many awards for his art and exhibits internationally. In 1992 Ko-udomvit was an Artist of Distinction at the National Exhibition of Art in Thailand. He has lectured in Japan, Canada and the USA. Institutions include The University of Alberta, The University of Connecticut, Tokyo National University and Tama Art University. In 2006 Ko-udomvit established ARDEL Gallery of Modern Art and was later selected as a curator for the Thai Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale. He is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University.
