Lucy is Reuters Senior Photographer based in Los Angeles. She has shot and produced video and written text reports to accompany photos for Reuters. Lucy has photographed seven Olympic Games, presidential elections in Afghanistan and the U.S., as well as news, business, sport and feature stories all over the U.S. She was featured in an International Olympic Committee Rio 2016 video: One Shot. Photographing the Olympic Games. She previously worked as a photographer in Mexico City, Chile, and Northern Ireland. Born in London, Lucy began her journalism career working as a reporter at the Mid Sussex Times in the UK. Her awards include the 2016 Sony World Photography Awards; POYi 70 and POYi 72; the 2016 and 2012 Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar. Her multimedia video ‘Homegirl Cafe‘ was a 2011 Webby Awards honoree for Documentary: Individual Episode.
