We celebratethe 2019 Sony World Photography Awards announcements with 11images capturing dramatic light to inspire you. All pictures have been taken from the 2019 Open and Youth competition shortlists and National Award winners

Earlier this week we revealed the National Award and ten Open competition category winners. To celebrate the array of photographs submitted to this year’s competition, we’re publishing a collection of images each week for the next eight weeks. Each collection will be chosen by a theme from the revealed shortlists. Last week we selected pictures relating to portraiture, this week we look at 11 images depicting dramatic light.
