Judges for the 2027 Sony World Photography Awards have been announced
The jury for the 20th edition of the Sony World Photography Awards brings together leading voices from across curating, publishing and institutional backgrounds. This year's panel spans seven countries and four continents, reflecting the Awards' global reach.
Independent Curator and Photography Consultant Monica Allende returns as Chair of the Jury for the Series competition and curator of the London exhibition at Somerset House.
To ensure a fair and impartial selection, all entries will be judged anonymously, with the process taking place in early 2027.
Entrants could receive:
- Up to $25,000
- Sony Digital Imaging Equipment
- Inclusion in the Sony World Photography Awards London and global exhibitions
- Publication in the annual book
- A day of tailored sessions with industry experts
- Press and media coverage
