From Desert Landscapes to City Skylines: Entries of the week

Explore our latest selection of eight photographs recently entered into the Single Image competition. 

This week's gallery spans extraordinary scenes from across the globe. Discover Sussi Charlotte Alminde's kite soaring into the clouds above Denmark's Fanø International Kite Flyers Festival, Sultan Alnaqeeb's elegant Arabian sand gazelle crossing the dunes of Abu Dhabi, and F. Every image featured in the Single Image competition is entered into a monthly draw, where we select one winner and two runners-up. First place receives a 50 Image Bundle, second place a 20 Image Bundle, and third place a 10 Image Bundle. These free entries go straight back into the Single Image competition, giving photographers even more opportunities to win.

At the end of the awards cycle, all monthly winners compete in a People's Choice Vote on Instagram. The overall winner will have their photograph showcased at the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition at London's Somerset House.
