Tobi Shonibare - London's Architecture

By Elly Thomas | 2 years ago

Sony UK Ambassador Tobi Shonibare studied law and worked in the city for six years. He started photographing three years ago, but began to take his photography more seriously during a trip to Canada, after meeting some very inspirational photographers and deciding that this was something that he really wanted to pursue.

In his work, Tobi tends to focus on geometry, symmetry and perspectives. He looks for beauty in the often gritty London streets and has an appreciation for the capital’s stunning architecture. Through this he has developed a unique style of street photography, shooting whatever interests him aiming get his point across as simply as he can. He wants those who view his photographs to make up their own minds as to what they see.
